Mikhail Beznosov began his musical education at age of 6 at the Voronezh Special Music School (class of Vladimir Lovchikov). Continued his studies at the Moscow State Conservatory and postgraduate (class of Vladimir Sokolov and Evgeny Petrov). Has received a master’s degree in opera and symphony conducting at Russian Academy of Music (class of Andrey Rein).

Since 2002 – a Principal Clarinet at the State Symphony Orchestra of Russia “Evgeny Svetlanov”, since 2007 – Principal Clarinet of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia (NPR). In 2011 he returned to “Evgeny Svetlanov” Symphony Orchestra (Artistic Director – Vladimir Jurowski) as a Principal Clarinet.

Mikhail Beznosov is the laureate of the S. Rozanov International Clarinet Competition, the winner of the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Competition for wind instruments in St. Petersburg and many others.

His chamber music partners include Natalia Gutman, Eliso Virsaladze, Alexei Lyubimov, Valery Popov, Alexander Rudin, Alexey Volodin, Vassily Lobanov, Itamar Golan, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Anton Barakhovsky, Alexander Trostyanskiy, Vyacheslav Poprugin, Alexander Buzlov, “Borodin Quartet”, “Romantic Quartet”.

As a soloist, Mikhail Beznosov performed with the “Evgeny Svetlanov” State Symphony Orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the Orchestra of St. Petersburg Capella, Voronezh Academic Symphony Orchestra and State Chamber Orchestra “Musica Viva”.

His passion for the music of contemporary composers led to the work with the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble and the Studio of Modern Music at the Moscow Conservatoire. Mikhail Beznosov – the first performer of many works for clarinet written by contemporary Russian composers.

Very active in education, Mikhail Beznosov is on the faculties of the Moscow Gnesin School of Music, Moscow State College of Wind Art and at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.
He held master classes in Russia, United States and Brazil.

Mikhail Beznosov is a regular participant of festivals “December Evenings”, “Dedication to Oleg Kagan”, “Homecoming”, “Moscow Autumn”, “Moscow Forum”, “Vendsyssel festival” (Denmark), Festivals of S. Richter Fund in Tarusa, “Alternative”, “Music Collection in St. Petersburg, “Ars Longa”.
