“Patrick Breiner blew a startling, corkscrewing, unaccompanied improvisation on tenor sax that lasted for minutes without a break… it served notice that Breiner is a force to be reckoned with.” – Dean Robbins, The Daily Page
“…a fiery brigand… Adopting a kind of manic two-step, he rocked furiously in a mesmeric dance with his own constantly evolving improvisations.” – David Fitzgerald, Athens Flagpole
