Like every world-renowned quality product, we are the victims of counterfeit. We have therefore devised a system of identification for each of our reeds, each of our reed boxes and each of our mouthpieces with the help of an individual code:

• The reed box has a code in the form of XXX-XXX-XXX printed on the cellophane above the bar code.
  
  
• Inside the box, every reed carries a marking in the form of XXXXX-XXXX engraved on the table, above the Vandoren label.
  
  
• Every mouthpiece has a code in the form of XXXX-XXX ^*
