Born in 1979, Angelos received his first lessons of clarinet in the Philharmonic Society of Corfu.
Since 1997, he attended at clarinet classes at the Athens Conservatory, where he obtained his clarinet diploma in 2002 with ‘excellent’ honors and distinction.
He continued his studies at the Ecole Normal de Musique de Paris, as a fellow of the Hellenic Foundation of scholarships (I.K.Y.), with Prof. Guy DANGAIN. In 2005 he obtained the “Diplome de Concertiste ” and in 2006 the “Diplome de Perfectionnement” from Ecole Normal.
In January 2005, he won the first prize at the European clarinet competition «Picardie» of the City of Amiens, France.
He has collaborated with all the major Greek Orchestras (the Orchestra of Colors, the Camerata chamber Orchestra of Athens, the Athens National Opera and the Athens State Orchestra). He has also collaborated as a member of the Orchestra with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Essen, Zagreb Opera Orchestra and with the Orchestra Dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
He has given recitals as a soloist (“Salle Cortot” in Paris, “MEGARON” Athens concert Hall, Parnassus Hall of Athens etc.), has performed as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the municipality of Athens, the Philharmonic Orchestra of the city of Athens, the National Orchestra of the Greek Radio Television (E.R.T.) and with the Camerata chamber orchestra of Athens. He often plays chamber music as a founding member of “Aeolos” Woodwind Quintet and other Greek chamber music groups.
He recently participated with the “Aeolos” Woodwind Quintet in the recording of the CD “Greek Wind Quintets” that was released world widely by NAXOS (GREEK CLASSICS).
Many Greek composers have entrusted him with the first execution of their clarinet pieces and the famous Greek composer Theodore Antoniou has dedicated to him, his clarinet quintet and concerto.
He teaches the clarinet at the Athens Conservatory. He is often called as member of jury in music competitions such as the International clarinet competition “MARCO FIORINDO” (November 2012, Turin) and the 7th International competition for woodwind quintets “HENRI TOMASI” (February 2013, Marseille).
He is 1st clarinet at Athens Band Philharmonic Orchestra .
He is the principal clarinetist of the National Orchestra of the Greek Radio-Television.

Il a donné des récitals en tant que soliste (“Salle Cortot” à Paris, Salle de concert «MEGARON» d’Athènes, Salle Parnassus d’Athènes, etc.), s’est produit en soliste avec l’Orchestre Symphonique de la municipalité d’Athènes, l’Orchestre Philharmonique du ville d’Athènes, l’Orchestre National de la Radiotélévision Grecque (ERT) et avec l’orchestre de chambre Camerata d’Athènes. Il joue souvent de la musique de chambre en tant que membre fondateur du “Aeolos” Woodwind Quintet et d’autres groupes de musique de chambre grecs.
Il a récemment participé avec le “Aeolos” Woodwind Quintet à l’enregistrement du CD “Greek Wind Quintets”, qui a été publié dans le monde entier par NAXOS (GREEK CLASSICS).
De nombreux compositeurs grecs lui ont confié la première exécution de leurs pièces de clarinette et le célèbre compositeur grec Theodore Antoniou , son quintette de clarinettes et son concerto.
Il enseigne la clarinette au Conservatoire d’Athènes. Il est souvent appelé à faire partie de jury de concours musicaux tels que le concours international de clarinette “MARCO FIORINDO” (novembre 2012, Turin) et le 7e concours international de quintettes à vent “HENRI TOMASI” (février 2013, Marseille).
Il est 1ère clarinette de l’Orchestre d’Harmonie Municipale d’Athènes.
Il est 1ere clarinette solo à l’Orchestre National de la Radio-télévision Grecque.
