Hosup Song is a clarinetist who is passionate about both teaching and performing music. His performances are delicate expressions of harmony between music and humanity.
After graduating from Seoul Arts High School and Seoul National University in Korea, he graduated from the Musik Hochschule in Munich Meisterklasse in Germany and the Basel Musik Hochschule Konzertklasse in Switzerland.
He has participated in the Daegu International Contemporary Music Festival, GAIDA International Contemporary Music Festival, Randfestspiele Zepernick, Musica Aperta, Bern Moderne, Musik AM 13, Hiroshima International Music Festival, Music Arama, Melos-Étos, Kaohsiung International Percussion Festival, Festival Présences etc.
He is the music director and leader of Ensemble DIAPASON, a member of Ensemble Eclat, a Selmer Artist and a Professor at Chugye University for the Arts.
