He was born in Mersin in 1996. He began his music career by winning the talent exam opened by Mersin University State Conservatory and starting clarinet studies with Associate Professor George Kovziridze. In 2010, he won the audition of the Doğuş Children’s Symphony Orchestra conducted by Rengim Gökmen, and served as a member of the orchestra, performing concerts in many cities between 2010 and 2014. In 2014, he participated in concerts in Turkey and Greece with the Turkish-Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Cem Mansur.

From 2015 to 2017, he won the audition of the Turkey National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and performed concerts in Turkey, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and Italy. He also participated in many concerts with the Mersin University Academic Chamber Orchestra. He appeared as a guest artist in concerts with the Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra, Antalya State Symphony Orchestra, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra, and Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra.

Kayahan Karaca also participated in chamber music studies with Prof. Thomas Lindhorst, Pierre Woudenberg, Fabrizio Meloni, Michel Arrignon, and Nicolas Baldeyrou, alongside George Ksovreli, Halit Turgay, and Münif Akalın, and performed in many concerts. In 2015, he won the 3rd prize with his group in the 1st Kemal Rastgeldi Chamber Music Competition. In 2016, he was accepted to the soloist audition opened by the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra and earned the right to perform as a soloist with the orchestra. In 2017, he was accepted to the soloist auditions of the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra and performed as a soloist in the orchestra. In November 2017, he joined the Samsun State Opera and Ballet. In 2018, 2021, and 2026, he performed as a soloist upon the invitation of the Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra. In 2020, he performed as a soloist with the Mersin Academic Chamber Orchestra.

He completed his undergraduate education at Mersin University State Conservatory with Associate Professor George Kovziridze.

He is currently continuing as a principal clarinet artist at the Mersin State Opera and Ballet.
