Musso Gustavo

Gustave Musso took his first clarinet lessons at age 8 with Eduardo Prado (from the National Symphony Orchestra). At age 15 he began his studies at the school of the Argentine Musicians Union. He studied harmony, audioperception and several other subjects. He took saxophone lessons for four years with Victor Skorupski.

At age 21 he won a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and later on studied in Los Angeles with different teachers. He accompanied numerous artists both in recordings and in live performances. Ever since his return to the country he has taken part in different ensembles and projects such as Sexteto Escalandrum, Argentos Sexteto, the saxophone quartet D’Coté Tango, Homenaje Astor Piazzolla by Piazzolla and RM Orchestra Big Band. At present he teaches at the Instituto San Andrés and tours the country and the world with some of the mentioned ensembles.
