KATHYA JOUE UN BEC VANDOREN B40 A LA CLARINETTE SIB, DES ANCHES TRADITIONNELLES N°3 ET UNE LIGATURE M/O FINITION ARGENTEE

Comienza su estudio del clarinete en la Escuela Experimental de música Jorge Peña Henn y continúa en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, donde recibe el título de Intérprete Musical mención Clarinete con distinción máxima.  Sigue sus estudios en el Conservatorio Nacional Regional de Versalles, Francia, en la clase de Philippe Cuper donde obtiene los diplomas CEPI y Perfeccionament.  Se ha presentado como solista con diferentes agrupaciones del país como la Orquesta de Cámara de Chile, Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad de La Serena, Orquesta Sinfónica de Copiapó, Banda Sinfónica de la FACH durante las 50 Semanas musicales de Frutillar, Orquesta Marga Marga, entre otras. El año 2013 realizó una gira de conciertos y Master clases por Ecuador y Colombia. En el año 2018 fue parte del Clarinet Fest, donde interpretó Zarabandeo, en presencia de su compositor Arturo Marquéz, también tendrá giras a Colombia y Costa Rica, a dar clases y conciertos. Luego el año 2019 realizó el estreno del concierto para clarinete y orquesta del compositor y director paraguayo Diego Sanchez Hasse, junto a la orquesta Sinfónica del Congreso Nacional de Paraguay, en ese país bajo la dirección del mismo compositor. Durante el año 2020, funda junto a la saxofonista mexicana la Alianza de Mujeres ClariSax. El año 2022 fue parte del proyecto ganador de Ibermusicas “Nuestro Grito”, proyecto interdisciplinario realizado en Colombia.

Magister de la Universidad de Chile, titulándose con mención máxima, el cual hizo bajo la tutela de Luis Rossi. Comienza cómo profesora de la Pontifica Universidad de Valparaíso en el año 2011 hasta el año 2022. El año 2020 abrio una nueva cátedra de clarinete en la Universidad Mayor  (Santiago, Chile).

The chilean clarinet player is both a concert artist and an educator. She started her studies on the clarinet in the “Escuela Experimental de Música Jorge Peña Henn” and continues in the “Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile”, where she graduates with honors, and obtains her Certificate in Musical Interpretation in Clarinet. Continues her studies in the National Regional Conservatory of Versalles, France, in the class of Philippe Cuper, and there receives both the CEPI diploma and the diploma of Perfeccionament.

Later on, she obtains her Master of Music in the University of Chile under the tutelage of Maestro Luis Rossi. Kathia has played as a soloist with various orchestras, such as The Chamber Orchestra of Chile, Symphonic Orchestra of La Serena and Symphonic Orchestra of Copiapó, Orquesta Sinfónica de Paraguay, among others. In 2013, the clarinetist went on tour to Ecuador and Colombia giving concerts and Masterclasses. She was part of the Chilean Bartok Ensamble from 2012 to 2015, with whom she went on various tours nationally and abroad, highlighting the participation of version no. 40 of the Cervantino Festival in Mexico. In 2018 was part of the Clarinet Fest, where she performed Zarabandeo in the presence of Arturo Marquéz. In 2020, together with Ximena Constantino, founded the ClariSax Women’s Alliance.  The year 2022 was part of the winning project of Ibermusicas “Our Scream”, an interdisciplinary project carried out in Colombia. In 2020, together with Ximena Constantino, founded the ClariSax Women’s Alliance.  She is the clarinet teacher in “Universidad Mayor” in Santiago, Chile, since 2020.

 

La clarinettiste chilienne est à la fois concertiste et éducatrice, puisqu’elle est professeur à la “Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso” depuis 2013. Elle a commencé ses études de clarinette à la “Escuela Experimental de Música Jorge Peña Henn” et continue à la “Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile”, où elle obtient son diplôme avec mention, et obtient son certificat en interprétation musicale en clarinette. Poursuit ses études au Conservatoire National Régional de Versalles, France, dans la classe de Philippe Cuper, et y obtient à la fois le diplôme CEPI et le diplôme de Perfectionnement.

Plus tard, elle obtient son Master en Musique à l’Université du Chili sous la tutelle du Maestro Luis Rossi. Kathia a joué en tant que soliste avec divers orchestres, tels que l’Orchestre de chambre du Chili, l’Orchestre symphonique de La Serena et l’Orchestre symphonique de Copiapó, Orquesta Sinfónica de Paraguay, entre autres. En 2013, le clarinettiste part en tournée en Équateur et en Colombie pour donner des concerts et des Masterclasses. Elle a fait partie du Chilien Bartok Ensamble de 2012 à 2015, avec qui elle a effectué diverses tournées nationales et à l’étranger, soulignant la participation de la version no. 40 du Festival Cervantino au Mexique. En 2018, elle fait partie du Clarinet Fest, où elle interprète Zarabandeo en présence d’Arturo Marquéz. Elle est professeur de clarinette à « Universidad Mayor » à Santiago, du Chili, depuis 2020.
